About Us

My name is Kim Nermyr and I am the proud owner of the Seniors Helping Seniors Minneapolis West franchise. We have been serving seniors in the Twin Cities area for over 15 years. Being the original franchise in this market we have built a wonderful reputation not only employing seniors but helping seniors remain independent in their homes for as long as possible.

I take pride in seeking a diverse range of experiences in our caregiving community. Our caregivers have backgrounds in the fields of human service, business management, nursing, technology, law, real estate, and homemakers - just to name a few. This helps us create matches that maximize social engagement and help make the transition into accepting care a little bit easier.

I am passionate about helping others and ensuring we provide the best care possible. We will work with you or you and your family to make sure this is a good fit. The right caregiver with the right support allows you or your loved one to age in place which is our goal.

"Thank you for the fine care you have provided my mom the past few years.  You allowed her to stay in her home longer than we thought was possible.  She really looked forward to the visits and I know we made the right decision getting your organization involved."

“I was a little resistant to start services not knowing what to expect. I called around to several agencies and when I met with Kim she made me feel comfortable and reassured. My first visit went better than I could have ever expected!  Scheduling my transportation for appointments has never been easier. Thank you for getting me back to taking care of my health.”
