"Seniors Helping Seniors was such a wonderful option for us. Lurene took the time to meet with us one on one and did a fabulous job pairing up my mom with a caring, reliable, flexible senior, Lois, who we adored. The daily help she provided for a year enabled us to keep mom living independently in her own home and bought us the much needed time before moving her to memory care. We will always be thankful for their help!"

"What a true Godsend this organization was to the care and comfort of our 97 year old mother. At first our mother was skeptical of having a stranger come into her home. She was matched with Mary, who was so kind and caring, and they became close friends. Mary was also extremely patient and reliable. We never had to worry during the time she was with our mother, and that relieved a lot of stress off our shoulders. We would highly recommend using this service."

"My sisters and I want to tell you how wonderful Stanley is - I'm sure you know it. But he is such a kind, thoughtful gentleman with a generous heart. He brought so much joy to mama - took her around looking at parts of the city she hasn't seen in years, going to eat ice cream, taking her to get her pedicures, taking her to the doctor and of course, playing Scrabble with her. He enhanced mama's life and brought her fun. We are soooo thankful for him. "

“When researching care for my Mom, who was living independently, Seniors Helping Seniors was among those recommended. I immediately found a compassionate ear and understanding CEO, Lurene. Everything is handled on a personal level. Lurene seeks out a best match for her clients and takes the time to introduce them before they begin work. Most agencies do not do this and it makes all the difference. We started with a single caregiver who developed a genuine bond with Mom. They enjoyed each other and Mom looked forward to the visits. Eventually, this grew to needing six Helpers over a period of a year and a half. Each and every one was special, went the extra distance to do for Mom, and took an active role in helping me help Mom. As Mom became more ill, needed more care, I tried another agency and had to let them go. I highly recommend, and have done so with many friends, Seniors Helping Seniors. They have been there, they understand, they are well trained. They are just the best! We can not thank them enough for their loving care.”

“I am my husbands caretaker and I am so happy we found seniors helping seniors to spend some time with my husband .The caretakers we have experienced are all very attentive to my husbands needs and he looks forward to the time he spends with them. Lurene is great and very accommodating . Thank you Lurene. High recommendation.”

“My father suffered a stroke and was soon thereafter diagnosed as suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Lurene and her seniors provided immeasurable assistance in permitting him to remain in his house as long as possible by providing daily human contact, preparing meals, and assisting with errands such as trips to the grocery store. Clients can assist them in providing the highest level of service by having ideas about activities they can take part in with the the family member being served and having plans for back up in the event the weather makes roads impassible. I would (and have) recommended them to friends who have similar needs with my highest possible recommendation.”
