Meet the Team

I’m Whitley and have been with Seniors Helping Seniors for a year, and it has truly been a blessing. Born and raised in Georgia, I’m married with two wonderful children, and my journey in life has been driven by my desire to help others do what they love. I hold a bachelor’s in psychology, and I believe my purpose is to support others in pursuing their passions. At Seniors Helping Seniors, I have the privilege of playing a role in scheduling, which is one of the backbones of our organization. It’s an honor to guide and connect with our dedicated caregivers and clients, ensuring everyone is supported and can thrive in what they do best. When I’m not working, I love spending quality time with my family outdoors and going on trips.

I’m Danita and have been with Seniors Helping Seniors for almost 2 years in the Scheduling Department. Being an administrative specialist for over 25 years, I bring a strong background of supporting teams to achieve everyone’s goals. I am proud of the services we provide and enjoy helping Seniors enjoy their best lives. My husband and I have two adult boys, and 1 granddaughter. During off hours, you can find me on the back of a motorcycle cruising the North Georgia mountains as often as possible. I enjoy home renovations, camping, traveling, and anything outdoors.

I’m Lisa and I have over 30 years’ experience in sales and marketing, administration and office management. 14 years of those are in the senior living industry here in Georgia and I love helping people. I believe the direction that God gave us to be his hands and feet are a direct result of why my passion lies where it does. I’m a strong advocate for seniors and have helped thousands of families navigate the variety of options for care, including home based care, community care, and skilled care. Providing education for families living with cognitive challenges is another area of my passion. Personally, I’m married with 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren. My husband and I enjoy the outdoors and spend all the time we can camping, boating and traveling.

I’m Samantha, I joined Seniors Helping Seniors in late 2024 as the Operations Manager. A Florida native, I settled in Georgia in 2020 with my husband and two daughters. I hold a bachelor's degree in biology from The University of Tampa and has over a decade of experience working in clinical laboratories. Recently, I decided to pivot her career towards a more compassionate role that allows me to give back to the community. Seniors Helping Seniors stood out as the perfect new home where she can combine her management and quality assurance expertise with a heartfelt call to action to help others. Outside of work, Samantha cherishes spending time with her family, exploring new foods and restaurants, crafting, and staying active.

I’m Tina, I started my journey with Seniors Helping Seniors in Feb 2022, opening our Buford location serving Hall, Forsyth, Barrow and Walton Counties. I left a 30-year career in Corporate IT to serve the senior community after caring for my mom for over 15 years. Seniors Helping Seniors has allowed me to combine my professional experience with a heartfelt mission to make aging a more joyful, connected experience for the people we serve. Outside of work, I enjoy tennis, any outdoor activity and spending time with family, volunteering, exploring Lake Lanier. I am blessed to be an active member of the Buford community.

I joined Seniors Helping Seniors® in February 2022, starting off by helping here and there as needed. As the organization has grown, so has my role. Today, I work closely with the marketing team to help spread awareness and ensure we reach those who need our services most. Behind the scenes, I also handle a variety of organizational and operational tasks to keep everything running smoothly. Watching Seniors Helping Seniors® grow and witnessing the positive impact we have—not just on our clients, but also on their families—reminds me every day why I chose to be a part of this industry. I am currently a student at Kennesaw State University where I am working towards a business management degree. Outside of work and school you will find me at the lake with my friends and family, working out, or golfing. I couldn’t be more excited to see how we grow and the impact we can have on the lives of those that we are fortunate enough to work with.

How to Get Started

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services matches seniors who want to provide help with seniors who are looking for help. We started in 1998 with a simple concept that seniors can help each other age better and that those who give and those who receive benefit equally. Since 1998, we have grown from our first match to working with hundreds of helpers and clients. We've continued to grow geographically. We continue to expand the training for our helpers. And we've added services in response to the needs of our clients.
