"My very elderly mother received varying types of appropriate care from SHS for several years, ranging from companion care initially to more supportive care in the following years. No matter what service they provided, all the caregivers were compassionate, sincere and committed. We always felt comfortable knowing that mom was being well taken care of both when we were away and when the caregiver was working with us to help her. Further, SHS is run by a very caring individual who always ensured we were pleased with the services provided and thus I highly recommend this care group." - Sylvia Bandyke

"I'm pleased with the relationship that I've developed with my Senior Helping Senior caregivers. They have become trusted friends that have helped me to continue living in my home. We've enjoyed playing cards, putting together puzzles, playing board games and having outstanding conversations. They also help me by performing light housekeeping. I share lunch with them each day, as we have established that kind of rapport! I look forward everyday to my visit as it is the highlight of my day. Even my dog loves them!!!!!!"

“I want to thank Carmo Ribeiro for his guidance, patience and understanding for my father’s needs. And to Ed Weidenbach for the time, patience and understanding as he spent time with my father. My father was resistance at first, but quickly became comfortable with Ed and he was very very helpful to me and my father.”

"Seniors Helping Seniors is a great organization. They have provided assistance for my uncle. Individuals have been found when requested to assist with transportation when needed. The individuals who have been available to help are very pleasant to work with and have taken good care with my uncle’s needs. I like the reasonable cost, the help they provide and the quick response/communication. Additionally, I would refer others in need to Seniors Helping Seniors. Thanks for what you do!" - Marie DeGrandchamp

"My brother is 83 and lives with low vision and other health challenges, but thanks to Seniors Helping Seniors, he is thriving with greater independence and joy. This service doesn’t just provide practical help with appointments, errands, and shopping—it brings companionship, dignity, and peace of mind. Every senior who has supported Gordon has been warm, professional, and incredibly patient. They are not only reliable helpers, but true friends who brighten his days. He looks forward to their visits, and our family is comforted knowing he is cared for with such kindness. What sets Seniors Helping Seniors apart is the genuine humanity at its core. They go above and beyond with thoughtful updates and a personal touch that makes all the difference. It has been a blessing for Gordon and for us, and I recommend them wholeheartedly." - Carmen P.
